Vendor Onboarding

 

Welcome to Snowden Vendor Market — we’re excited to have you join the movement! Below is everything you need to know to get started as a vendor.

 

 

📋 Step 1: Apply for a Booth

 

Fill out the Vendor Application Form [linked here or on the application page]. This helps us learn more about your products and business. We’re looking for professional, presentable setups and quality merchandise.

 

 

💼 Step 2: Vendor Approval

 

Once your application is reviewed, we’ll reach out via phone or email to confirm availability and next steps. Approved vendors will receive a booth assignment and onboarding instructions.

 

 

💳 Step 3: Pay Your First Month

 

We operate month-to-month with no long-term contract. Booth fees vary by location inside the market. Once approved, you’ll receive an invoice through Square to pay your first month and lock in your spot.

 

 

📦 Step 4: Upload Your Products

 

We use a central checkout system, so all vendor products are uploaded into our point-of-sale system. You’ll receive a spreadsheet template to fill out with your product names, descriptions, prices, and quantities. Once submitted, we’ll upload it into our system.

 

 

🏷️ Step 5: Label Your Inventory

 

We’ll print barcode labels for you using our Zebra printer. Vendors will be responsible for placing the labels on their items before opening day. This ensures fast, accurate sales tracking and payouts.

 

 

🧾 Step 6: Track Your Sales & Get Paid

 

Sales are tracked in real-time. You’ll get access to an online vendor portal where you can see what’s selling. Payouts are issued weekly via direct deposit or cash pickup, depending on your preference.

 

 

🪧 Display & Signage Guidelines

 

To maintain a clean, professional shopping environment:

• No handwritten signs or price tags

• Group like-colored products together for visual impact

• Use risers, crates, or shelving to add dimension—not just flat tables

• Approved signage must include your brand name and booth number

• Booths should remain tidy and fully stocked during business hours

 

 

🚨 Liability & Risk Notice

 

Vendors assume full responsibility for their merchandise. Snowden Vendor Market is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged goods. A full liability agreement will be signed before move-in.

 

 

📆 Move-In & Orientation

 

You’ll be scheduled for a move-in date once your booth is ready. Staff will be on-site to assist and answer questions. Training on the register and policies will also be available.
